Not the best photos, but I thought you should see how my garden is coming along. I built these 2 garden boxes with a friend in February at my new place on Commercial Drive. Its incredible how much you can grow in these things! Year round gardening here we come!!!

A few photos of a teacher appreciation lunch at Trafalgar Elementary I helped out with. The teachers were quite ecstatic to be getting poached halibut and garden lettuces picked just hours before from my garden! It felt very good to donate my food and talent to them. They deserve our support.

Chanterelle Picking

Went chanterelle picking with some friends this morning at our 'secret spot'. Then made this: Chanterelle and corn soup with chorizo and arugula. Unreal!

Terra Madre Film and Reception

Hi Everyone! On Friday May 7th, I will be preparing appetizers along with several other local chefs at a reception following the official screening of a documentary called Terra Madre. It is about the importance of Bio-Diversity and the future of global food sustainability. The reception will be held at the Harrison gallery on Homer street.
